Slow news day

There’s not much going on here today.  Asa’s off at “school” and I just got back from a run and now I’m icing my foot.  My folks ran out to the Bill Millers around the corner to see what it was all about.  The rest of the day will play out along similar lines.  Stretching, core workout, pick the boy up, bake a chocolate cake, run again, ice again, stretch again, scrub out the garbage can, bed.  Nothing but net…

The foot seems to be doing really well, which is outstanding.  I feel like the PF is just waiting to come back in full force if I’m not vigilant with the icing and stretching and the big, attractive sleeping boot.  I should be able to manage that.  It’s that darn sleep I keep failing on.

Oh, I forgot about the bug exhibit at the Witte.  If you’re in town and you have a child that is not terrified of monster-sized mechanical bugs, you should go.  $3 + admission.  Asa slept in our bed last night.

between you, hubs, Asa and the boot, your bed sounds crowded!

It was nine feet high and six feet wide and soft as a downy chick,

It’d hold eight kids ‘n four hound dogs and a piggy we stole from the shed.
We didn’t get much sleep but we had a lot of fun on Grandma’s feather bed!
