I just got done giving Eliot a haircut on the back patio. I’ll be downloading the job application for Great Clips later today. And speaking of haircuts, I got one yesterday. (Length intact, fellows.) I did not expect Eliot to notice right off the bat. Like most people who have never had their hair washed at a beauty salon, he does not notice these things. This is not bothersome so much as interesting. Of course, I hadn’t finished walking in the door of a girlfriend’s house last night before “Did you get a haircut?” was asked. Eliot defended him skills of observation later with, “Well, I did think it looked more compact. I just didn’t think you’d gotten it cut.” Compact? We’re both still chuckling.
I ran for 30 minutes yesterday and the foot held up. 2 out of 10 for pain during the run and back down to that by the end of the day. I’ll try for an hour today at that same level of discomfort today. It was great to run again.
Okay, Asa’s put himself in his swimsuit and is standing at my elbow with two super soakers in his hand. I can take a hint.
